Gifts of used vehicles can build homes through Habitat’s Cars for Homes program. By designating Habitat MS Gulf Coast as the recipient of the proceeds, you can help build homes in Harrison, Jackson and Stone County.

Did you know that Walmart has a program called Spark Good that allows customers to round up their purchase total and donate their change to a public charity of their choice? If you would like to participate, it’s easy to set-up! Click here or follow the instructions below.

Qualified Charitable Donations
After a certain age, when you take funds from your IRA they count as taxable income. But, if you transfer directly to a charity, like Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, you reduce your taxable income while satisfying your required minimum distribution. These transfers, known as Qualified Charitable Distributions or QCDs, offer eligible older Americans a great way to easily give to charity before the end of the year.
