June 27, 2012 Do you know someone looking for a job? Do you know a recent high school or college graduate or a college student taking a break from school? Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast is looking for 17 Construction AmeriCorps members as well as 1 AmeriCorps VISTA member for Volunteer Services. AmeriCorps and VISTA positions are a great opportunity for people to give back to the community in the form of public service. Members will learn new skills, acquire qualities of leadership and gain a sense of satisfaction from taking on responsibilities that directly affect others’ lives.
