October 7, 2010 In 1985 the United Nations designated World Habitat Day as a day to recognize our collective responsibility for global housing and poverty issues. HFHMGC staff, volunteers, partner familes, and AmeriCorps participated in a ceremony and enjoyed an international themed lunch at a work site in Vancleave. WLOX covered the event.
