Annual Event to be Held in Southeast Asia
The Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project is an annual event to help raise awareness and provide simple, decent and affordable housing options. This year, the event will be held in Southeast Asia in the countries of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, China and Laos. During the week of November 15 - 20, over 160 homes will be built or repaired and nearly 3,000 volunteers from across the globe are expected to participate.
Habitat for Humanity of the MS Gulf Coast is a proud sponsor of this year's event. Being a past site for the project, we are eager to extend our help to other places of need. Through a tithe program, HFHMGC was able to contribute to the progress that will be made during the week long event.
