Facts About Buying A Home From Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of the MS Gulf Coast offers 2 homeownership programs to potential homebuyers: the Home Direct program and the Home Incubator program.

 

Base eligibility criteria are:

  • Prospective buyers must reside or work within Harrison, Jackson, or Stone County.
  • No Household member may be required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction.
  • Household Income must be within 35% - 80% of the area medial income for the county in which they wish to purchase a home.


Specific information about each program as well as income requirements can be found in the documents below.

To participate in either program, prospective buyers must: 1) be eligible for HFHMGC services; and 2) qualify under specific program criteria for their program of choice.
