It was with a sense of sadness...

It was with a sense of sadness that we left yesterday after our week at the Habitat Village and our work at the house on Nixon St south of Division in Biloxi. (May 6-10)

Please accept our heartfelt thanks for allowing us to be a part of your rebuilding effort on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
We are especially grateful to the guys who mentored us during our workdays, Greg, PJ, Steve and Heath. Each of them kind, patient teachers... And to Matt for being a great resource person at the Village, always smiling and receptive to our questions.

All too often while living our busy lives we forget how fortunate we really are to have been spared the wrath of a storm such as Katrina.

As human beings we owe it to each other to help when such a tragic event happens.

This past week we were reminded and humbled by it all.
