I went to Mississippi which Hurricane Katrina devastated to build a house as a volunteer though Habitat for spring break. It was just a 9 day trip, however, this opportunity inspired me to develop myself after the Ship for Southeast Asian Program. Even though I do not have practical experience, I hammered nails in and worked on the roof! By working and living together for building the house, I could make friends smoothly. I was very impressed by friends because they had good communication skill, leadership skill, and consideration for others, so they must be good role models for me. It's difficult to make friends through the classes, so these friends are invaluable for me. Reflections were held at the end of the day after dinner. We did ice braking outside to build teamwork, watched the documentary about Hurricane Katrina and shared our opinions, and finally discussed after the trip. That was precious time!!
